Dr. Abha古普塔 is a 教授 of Language and 读写能力 教育 at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, 维吉尼亚州, where she teaches undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level courses and is also the 研究生 Program Director for 读ing 教育 Program. Gupta has previously been a Title One 读ing Specialist at an elementary school and subsequently served as the director of the 读ing Center and the America 读s Program at the university. Gupta has numerous publications in the fields of literacy and language education in some of the leading journals.

Her research includes literacy learning in culturally diverse environments and innovative interventions to promote literacy (see http://haiilt.htvdirect.net/~agupta).
